Bmw x3 diesel - vibration from back when changing down gear - crazylou

Hi, I have problem on my 55 plate Bmw x3 diesel....when I change down gears or just cruise in neutral there is vibration and like a clunking sound....thought it might be exhause bracket but have had that checked out.

We have exactly the same problem with our 08 X3, have you managed to find out what is causing the noise/vibration?

Could be the rear propshaft joint.
