Hi, This is a first time post for me.

I have a 2005 fully serviced, 58K mileage, VW Golf Plus. I am suffering RUST, both front wings have had to be replaced and the rear wings "fixed"

Speaking to some technical guys in VW looks like we have a BIG problems!!!

Common and well publicised problem. Check out VW owner forums for good sound advice on how to deal with VW as it is invariably a perforation issue covered by a 12 year anti perforation warranty. However VW will jump through hoops denying it and fobbing people off with warranty rejections as not main dealer serviced etc. I had the front wing rust issues on an 05 Passat and got 100% contribution 2 days after a 50% offer. Have to say VW Customer Services were very responsive and prompt!
