My Fiat Punto 75 (R-1997) wouldn't idle again this morning. It started fine as normal but would then immediately stall unless I kept my foot on the accelerator.

I had to get to work so I drove it the 7 mile journey stalling it several times in the process. Just before I got there the issue corrected itself and it idled perfectly at the last few sets of traffic lights.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time it has happened, it is an intermittent problem. I'd be very grateful for any suggestions.
