Despite using it regularly throughout the year, my Fiesta's air con has finally started smelling a bit farmy. I've used a propriety aerosol cleaner/disinfectant of the type discharged in the footwell, which has helped but not eliminated the problem. I'm considering spraying another of these directly onto the evaporator matrix. I'm assuming that this is immediately below the panel beneath the heater control valve. Before I struggle to remove those four srews, can anyone confirm that the matrix is easily squitable with an aerosol without disconnecting anyone else?
