first time buyer in UK-pitfalls- help - neilK
Returning to UK and am buying first car in UK. I am thinking of buying a 2 year old car from a car supermarket.
I need help as to what are the pitfalls to lookout for and what are the "must do's" during the process of buying from these outlets.

A couple of thoughts...
If you've been away from UK for sometime, have you checked out the insurance situation? We've had a lot of cost increases, plus 'group' re-clasification.May be worth talking to a broker, for some guidance as to which models would suit your budget, first.
Then,ONLY if you have the time, view whats on offer at the supermarkets, then go & have a couple of days out at an auction.
See if you can't spend a little time & save some (a lot?) money at the auction.Bet the car will be there, just waiting for you!
