It's probably only worth its scrap value so it should be cut up on site and disposed of and the proceeds should go towards the cost of the clearing up operation.

Its not riot related though so he'll only get a slap on the wrist. If he did it in the riots he'd go to prison for four thousand years. Stealing a bottle of water in the riots gets the same sentance as peadophilia does when its not during riots.

More likely that the judge will be desparate to avoid custodial sentences since the jails will now be full of petty criminals, costing the taxpayer £28k+ p.a.

They probably had to grant some serious offenders early parole to create some more spaces to house the sudden influx... But the important thing is that the public is reassured that something is being done about something watched on television or read in the DM.

The car is at the top of the hill, right? so Getting it down is a problem because...??

Just let the handbrake off and stand well back ...

Well the numpty in question wants to drive it back down! 'Health and safety' will be wetting themselves with joy at the safety case they get to write....

Well there really isn't an alternative to driving it down. Using a helecopter is hardly safe or cost effective. Let him drive it down, then fine the p****** or give him 100 hours community service rebuilding footpaths in Snowdonia. maybe then he will think to tread a little more lightly!

Don't see why he has to be arrested-surely it's a civil matter?

It's an RTA offence to take a motor vehicle more than15 yards from a public highway without permission.

Pity they don't use that law against p****s

Oh dear my Sat Nav made me take a wrong turn....

Why can't it be driven down?

Some p******! - Bobbin Threadbare

What gets me is that he did it on purpose - on a list of things to do before he dies. He's 39 so probably not going to die soon, but also old enough to know better. Besides, what's wrong with hiking up Snowdon? It's fun!

Dismantle it and sell it on ebay for charity. To save on postage I'd get people to collect their parts themselves!
