Hi,

A friend wishes to replace the badly kerbed alloys (Thor design) fitted with 225/45/17 pirelli tyres with genuine Volvo replacements (used) rather than have them refurbished..

I believe that these rims maybe 7.5J but the hand book in the car is of no real use to us to check this. We are having great difficulty in finding any sets in the size 7.5J x 17.There appears to be a more readily supply of 7J X 17 which I think should fit .

Can anyone confirm these facts and if 7J x 17 will fit, can they take the current 225/45 tyres or would 215/45 be required ?.
