325i Sport Coupe - Selling 325i Sport Coupe is it going to be easy? - r0b

I'm looking to sell my car as I don't use it for much except popping to tesco's so I'm going to downgrade or go without a car for a while ......if I can cope.

My car is an 04 plate silver with climate control, leather electric memory seats, integrated bluetooth, parking sensors and a cd changer which I think is pretty much as standard for this model. milleage is 55K.

Parkers has it down at £7056 in good condition and £5510 in poor condition.

Am I going to have trouble selling a car with a large engine now that everyone is after a diesel?

No. I'd have it!

Just ask Jamie - he drives a monster Jag, no qualms about getting a big engine at all.

Not necessarily, quite a few people who don't do big miles would prefer a 7 year old, low mileage quality petrol motor to a leggy smokey, injectors, clutch and dmf may go any day diesel. You'll have to be realistic about the price so look on autotrader and see what same age mileage ones are going for and if it's bearable make yours stand out a bit with a below average price, full description, service history dates and mileages, and 9 good quality photos.

There is no such thing as a house or a car that is difficult to sell-at the right price. I think Parkers are a bit optimistic. I'd take an average of the similar cars in autotrader-probably around the £6k mark.

I know that most things will sell if they are cheap enough, it's just I wanted an opinion if it would go at a certain value .

If there wasn't a market for them and I had to say drop the price to £3000 then I might aswell keep hold of it as it would be worth more to me.

Oh no-much more than £3k. But I'd look to autotrader for an accurate pricing. I think Parkers' are a tad high.
