The Gearstick on my Nissan feels sloppy and loose and does not return to the centre. Can anyone advise me whats causing this?
There is a main linkage plate mounted on the top rear of the gearbox this is prone to wear and in some cases it actually snaps a good place to start.
I have checked that and the problem seems to be below the gearstick. Could this be return spring and bush?
