Mercedes 2004 C180 Kompressor - Car Alarm - sligosean

Does anyone know why when I press the key fob and lock the car and set the alarm after about 10 seconds the hazard lights start to flash really quickly and if you try and turn off the alarm it actually goes off. Also sometimes after the alarm is set I come back and see that it has been activated as the hazard lights are flashing.

Appreciate any help as it's driving me menta. Thanks

Maybe the computer codes need resetting. Main dealers have the kit of course but also there are some good indies who do the same job for a fraction of the cost. I had alarm trouble and needed a new pse pump but hopefully yours won't. The Mercedes owners club is a valuable source of info and membership gets you a discount on parts and labour.
