i have a 51 plate vauxhall combo it dont seem to pick up much speed when i go through the gears and will only do 65~70 on the motorway any suggestions please

Is it turbo and if so can you feel the turbo coming in at around 2000 rpm?

its not turbo 1.7 cdi but it does pick up speed at the top of the gear ratio like you said that something is kicking in
yes it does kick in at 2000 revs but its not turbo its a 1.7 di
