Hope this is still under warranty...! - Bobbin Threadbare

If anyone knows what this was for, let me know (i.e. who built the vehicle, was it a land speed record or anything). I just find the way he looks at the broken bit v. funny.

A 'funny car' is a type of car used for drag racing.

Quite capable of well over 200mph and they reach it very quickly

Awesome thanks Davey. The vid reckons he is doing 203mph. It's the way he chucks the steering thingy and looks at it puzzled like. ROFL.

They're not that far behind top fuel. Basically a dragster with a plastic body shell on top.

The fuellers are amazing to watch, hear-and feel. 0-100 in under a second...

You can get really close to them in the pits too. They burn nitromethane mixed with methanol-the exhaust gas is basically nitric acid-makes the eyes water.
