Driving along a dual carrige way the other day with my daughter a motorist made a "U Turn " in one of the gaps, seriously dangerous on the A303 ! and I said well were in a " Clearway" zone with the Blue cuircle with the red cross and red ring around the outside and she said , yeah but thats just no stopping ! I said it is No Stopping or U turns and she said since she has learnt to drive its just said no stopping ! so looked it up in the highway code ( latest book ) and sure enough it just says "no stopping "
so has this changed ? have I missed something ?
I drove through a town yesterday which had a dual carrigeway with traffic lights and on the lights was a clearway zone sign , which in my book meant no U turn at the traffic lights !
