BMW 1 Series - Goes even more ugly - Trilogy

Just seen the latest pics. http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/bmw-/new-bmw-1-series-revealed/257506/pictures/new-bmw-1-series-revealed.aspx Seems BMW's stylists have been influenced by the by Lexus. I doubt most BMW drivers will notice. Apparently most think their 1 series is fwd!

That is ugly. Weird squashed nose! I saw a 125 on my way to work this morning. It's sort of like a 3-series from the front, but if you see the back of one, it's like they forgot to put the rest of the car on.

Strange innit?........ I'm no BMW fan and I thought the previous 1 Series was extremely ugly, but I actually think that new one is an improvement. (maybe a relative statement).

They've got rid of the U-shaped line which ran along the lower edge of sides, which made it look like it had broken its back. It doesn't look quite as cheap and nasty as the earlier versions.

Be interesting to see if they ever do anything with the really ugly one, the X6

Definitely in the eye of the beholder. IMO the Coupe is so ugly it would frighten small children at a thousand yards. The 1 series is Inferior in every respect to the Golf it wins only in Badge snobbery.....my opinion of course.

Park it between a Citroen DS3 and a Nissan Juke and it wouldn't look too bad!!!

I wonder if the inspiration for the new 1-series was one of the original type that had been driven at low speed into a wall!
