2000/w volvo v70 t5 auto - odd behavior from auto box, and osf c/l unit - carnut1980

hi all, my v70 tends to overrev a tad in 2nd, if i hold at approx 20mph it will rev to around 2500 rpm then jolt into 3rd, it doesnt seem to do this in any other gear (autobox), if i accelerate past 20mph it doesnt happen. Could this be a lazy torque converter, a worn synchro in 2nd, or worse?

Also my fob locks/unlocks all doors except drivers, it unlocks fine with key, i sourced a replacement solenoid but it made no difference, i assume the problem is electrical, i can't hear anything happening inside the door when i lock/unlock. All the wiring seems to be intact, any ideas?

Finally the message on dash says 'urgent, srs airbag service' accompanied by a red exclamation mark within a red triangle. Is this message easy to remove, or is it volvos way of relieving me of cash to 'plug' in their diag gear?

cheers
