2007 Vauxhall Corsa - Reserve tank capacity - beanstalker

I am tring to find out how much fuel is in the reserve tank of my 2007 Corsa petrol. I know that the tank capacity is given as 45 litres but I cannot find out the precise capacity of the reserve tank. I have even phoned my local Vaixhall dealer and they said they didnt know.

Hope someone out there knows the answer.

There is no "reserve tank" as such.

Do you mean how much fuel is left in the tank when the low fuel warning light comes on ?

If so, it's hopefully in the Owners Manual.......ebt

Didn't think there was! just wondered if I'd missed something.

The light usually comes on when the level in the tank drops below about 1.5 gallons-but it will vary. Some are more alarmist than others.

Well today we evacuated a Corsa 2003, and with 5 litres in it still flashed the petrol light

So when it starts flashing, you still have at least 30 miles

That is your reserve tank capacity.
