The CRVs are assembled in Swindon, as was the last one I bought from Gerard's, which was re-imported from Cyprus. As a consequence it still benefitted from the Honda worldwide warranty, but with a 60,000 mile rather than the 90,000 that then applied to UK dealer supplied cars. Made no difference to me as I didn't reach 60,000 in three years.

My point was that they are "imports" but as they are from the EU there are no issues with conformity etc and from experience no issues with residuals.

I couldn't say for sure that Gerard's is still sourcing exclsuively from Cyprus but they will tell you - they are very straightforward to deal with, and had they been able to supply what I wanted I wouldn't have hesitated to deal with them again recently.

I believe part of the problem is the 0%. Dealers have to pay Honda to use interest free which could be discount passed to you if you were to buy with cash
