The above car developed this fault ive tried a few things like testing the reciever ring on another clio and it worked ive tried all the usual things with the key like re-setting it or holding the lock button down when trying to start but no good.
So got a locksmith to make a new key and chip (£90) but still having the same fault although they say that there is a signal from the key.
Just wondering if any one can help if its not the key or the reciever what would be the next best step.
cant remeber whether its the mk2 or mk 3 that suffered with the wiring loom rotting over the n/s/f suspension strut , this used to cause imobilizer problems
