270/320/430 - Mercedes ML - Mil1194

Hi all,

TIA for any advice. I am looking at ML's (1999-2003ish). We don't do many miles so am not too bothered with the extra fuel comsumption of a petrol one - and have seen a couple of 430's with LPG conversions and have had gas vehicles before. Does anyone have any advice of what to look for, avoid etc. as I don't really want to get caught with my pants down but I know that the build quality (apparently) isn't up to the usual standard.

I beiieve they were built in the states you do not see many here in Germany there must be a good reason.
