2004 CITROEN C5 2 LITRE AUTOMATIC - SERVICE DETAILS FOR CITROEN C5 - Ivanovich

Can anyone help with the Correct service intervals for this Citroen. According to the Peugeot 407, with a similar engine, the suggestion is that the Oil should be changed every 15,000 kms and a 'Major' service done every 30,000kms.

But the Service Book on my Citroen states that Servicing should be at 30,000 km. Intervals.

I believe that the Oil used in the Citroen C5 should be the expensive grades of Synthetic

type Oils. Is this why it is necessary to change the Oil in the Peugeot 407 at 15,000 kms and not the Citroen C5?

I have a 407 hdi and the oil recommended is also the most expensive if you have a service book all the service intervals are shown.
