Another one for you. Rechargable batteries suffer from the memory effect. If you charge them while partially chrged you get less power back each time. Secondly as anyone who owns a old laptop will tell you, the performance deteriorates markedly over a couple of years.

So in two years time given average usage and again using electrically powered onboard equipment. Whats the new dramaticaly reduced range going to be? As a percentage. I guess 60% of the new range? 60% of not very much is er...not very much indeed.

Cost of replacing them every how many years?
