Skoda Fabia Elegance 1.4 Year 2000 - Management Light Stays On after being reset - Christopher Moore

I have had this reset 4 times in the last 5 weeks all filters & a full service has been done garage unable to find the cause.

It comes back on app 5 days after the reset.

Any ideas

Skoda Fabia Elegance 1.4 Year 2000 - Management Light Stays On after being reset - Big John

What code is logged?

Is this the 8v or 16V?

The 16V seems to have problems re the EGR valve. Can be either the pipe work from the EGR valve being blocked with crud or the EGR valve itself sticking. Usually logs "insufficient flow" when on a long overrun (hence taking a few days). If the valve sticks shut then will still run fine if the vlave sticks open then tickover will be affected.

Also check the oil breather pipes etc not forgetting the one buried inside the air filter. If blocked usually also greatly increases oil consumption as the engine becomes pressurized forcing oil past the valve seals/stems.

I will try that
