306 SLD 97 model XUD9 D9B engine - peogeut head bolt tightening torque - boaz

Hi,

The book specification for head bolt tightening torque is:

Pre-tighten: 2 m,daN (20 NM),

Tightening torque = 6 M.daN (60NM)

Angular tightening of 180 degrees.

The problem is that after tightening to 60 NM it feels like you can't go anymore.. specialy not another half turn..? I know these are flexible bolts but still...???

What do you think?

The only info I have is for the Xantia engine, that gives 20nm - 60nm then 180 degrees for the non turbo and 20-60 and 220 deg for the turbo. Did you fit new head bolts?
