Just had cambelt kit and water pump fitted and was fine for 60 mile trip. On starting up today it backfired and idle speed started to fluctuate and sounds rough until I rev. No loss of power when driving but a bit jumpy after slowing down and accelerating.

Could timing be out by a tooth even though it was fine to start with?
