please could someone help

have a daweoo matiz took it to garage to have cam belt changed

garage said need to have have fan belt changed as well got invoice back on job sheet says cambelt changed and tension roller pully not sure what this means is this the fanbelt many tks for you help

The tensioner is there to make sure the belt is tight enough so as not to slip or skip around the business ends of what it does.

I have experience of saving a few quid by not having a tensioner replaced, only to have to spend out again when the tensioner fails.

The fanbelt may have had to come off to get the cam belt off, so it would make sense to change it whilst you're in the area.

The tensioners on these cars do fail if neglected, so your garage has done the right thing in replacing that as well.
