Chrysler Voyager 2.5TD 2003 - Cambelt broken - kramnoswalc

Hi,

My Voyager has a broken cambelt, does anyone know how much damage this can cause?

Is it similar to the 2.8 when if i'm lucky it snaps the followers,

It had its belt replaced approx 20,000 miles ago so I suspect its had an idler or something fail

any info will be greatfully received

Ok, well have fixed the car now, I done it myself, I found that the damage was limited to the cam followers, It had damaged 12 of them, but I replace the whole set, after researching the engine I found that it was also fitted to the LDV maxus van and that the parts I needed were just over £14 per follower from a DAF dealer, cheaper than Chrysler!
It wasn't an easy job, but I think a good DIY mechanic could tackle the repair, the info is on the internet!
