Watford to Aylesbury commute

Watford to Aylesbury commute - samura

I've been lucky to get a new job in Aylesbury, and am considering relocating to Watford. Can anyone advise as to what the traffic heading into Aylesbury from Watford is likely to be like in the mornings?

Wont be too bad on the newish A41 bypass, but that ends just short of Aylesbury. Aylesbury city centre traffic in rush hour is a disaster.

Getting OUT of Watford can be a problem as well in the rush hour; your only real option for Aylesbury and the A41 from central Watford is the Hempstead Road and that can be very slow. (Heavy traffic, single lane most of the way except for traffic lights, three sets of speed cameras, two busy roundabouts - one for the M25 - before you reach the dual carriageway.)

In addition, depending whereabouts in Watford you start off, moving around in Watford to get to the Hempstead Road could be diabolical.
