I enjoy watching F1 racing once in a while. But seeing doctors nurses and people protesting against a regime being shot and killed leaves a sour taste in my mouth.I wonder what Mr B Eccles is going to decide after going to Bahrain.

Bernie made his decision he's left it to the crown prince.

Bernie made his decision he's left it to the crown prince.

But Bernie, just like the politicians who armed these regimes is just after the money, same for Malaysia, same for Abu Dhabi, A certain former prime minister has a lot to answer for as do all those big Oil and Defence Companies who were chasing their lucrative deals in Libya till yesterday.

Can you imagine if we had appeased Hitler where we would be now?

Money Money Money!

I know that a motoring discussion isn't the place for this, but Dutchie, you are right to raise it.

As we will all know by now the race has been cancelled. On another point I thought we did appease Hitler that was the start of the problem a certain primeminister waving a piece of paper "peace in our time"after he had a meeting with the Austrian painter.I agree with you Dutchie these despots who think they own the country and the people seem to be a dying species in the middle east but will there replacement be any better.
