Toyota Avensis 1.8 auto 2003 - Remote central locking - BRISTOL

The following failed simultaneously:

Remote central locking, interior lights, radio. satnav screen,"lights on" warning bleeps - ALL FAIL.

Also the trip meter readings revert to zero when engine switched off.

I have removed and re-inserted the black box integration relay and PROBLEM REMAINS.

All interior light bulbs are OK. All fuses are OK.New battery in key fob.

I can centrally lock all doors with key and the car functions correctly in all other respects.

Can you suggest a solution to the problem?

Disconnected the battery, but did not cure the problem.

Are there any Toyota experts out there with diagnostic skills??

is there a 'plug-in' diagnostic aid that would pinpoint the problem?

I think i would start by checking the fuses.hth

As stated, all fuses are OK, as are all light bulbs.

I can use the car except for remote locking, sat-nav . radio and clock.

There must be a simple explanation?

Is there more than one fuse box on this model? Also I have found on many modern car fuseboxes ,a blown fuse can be very difficult to identify without removing the fuse as they are installed very close together.Just a thought.hth

Thanks

I totally agree that the most obvious answer is a problem with a fuse, but all fuses have been declared intact on 3 seperate occassions. There are indeed 2 fuse banks.

Thanks for your input.
