She was lucky these thugs could have killed her.

But I give her due she is very brave and didn't turn her back like so many people do these days.

She was brave. But lucky they didn't turn on her. She didn't foil them, it was the jeweller inside dropping the roller shutters. They did manage to get some "Tom" before they got away.

But if enough of those people who herded over to her after the event had actually intervened, she would not have been in harms way, and they might have sped off with nowt.
