Ford Escort 1998 1600 Petrol - Radiator Hoses - freman

I wish to change the radiator hoses on the above car.

They are the original hoses & I think its about time they were changed altough they look O.K.

Any advice on the best way to go about it as they seem pretty inaccessible.

If they look ok with no evidence of leakage,then I would leave them alone.Also you may find some of the hoses now difficult to source due to age of vehicle.hth

Thank you doctor, I think I will take your advice, but if a push became a shove I would new ones before touchin hte old ones.

It was just that I thought 13 years was pushing ity a bit

Hoses are much more durable than they used to be - they are also very expensive, I would check the price before you are tempted to order some.
