Anyone know the schedule for replacement of cambelt for the car?

There are two schedules - the one in the service book supplied by the vehicle manufacturer and another one which is unique to the UK.
The second is an instruction from the importers in Milton Keynes and is readily accepted by the dealers as a means of generating extra revenue. It involves changing a perfectly good belt after only 4 years of operation.
Take your pick - I used the information provided in the service book for my 1.9 PD.
