Audi A6 Avant - ASR light - piff71

Hi my audi a6 asr light is permanently on and the abs is not working but no abs light on has anyone any ideas thanks.

Is your ABS actually working. You need a diagnostic code read but do check you brake lights are working properly. Is you cruise control working. Regards Peter

hi the abs is not working ,the brake lights work fine the cruise is working and the fault code i have got on a cheap scanner is 65535 Thanks Paul.

More than likely the abs ecu faulty common fault BMW accept there is a problem but VAG do not even though its the same part.

Hi is the abs ecu on the side of the abs pump ,if it is can it be removed without removing the actual pump thanks Paul
