I know that sometimes it is difficult to find the source of a leak BUT I cannot but help wonder If there's a warranty then the garage should sort it out.

Maybe as she's a woman they have fobbed her off - perhaps a bit of shouting, insisting on a replacement, another car until its resolved may help, maybe another MINI gargae or a letter to Mini HQ?
