zetec - Ford Focus has many problems ???? - divades

I am having problems with my car. My interior light, electric mirrors, rear/front windscreen heaters, front intermittent wiper, rear wiper and warning lights alarm have all stopped working. I have also noticed when sometimes i change gear the car jerks and the radio goes very loud just for a split second. The warning door light sometimes flashes and the central locking can lock and unlock whilst i am driving. Has anybody got any ideas please!!!!!!

Most of these functions are controlled by the central electric module.(known as the Gems unit).This is unlikely to be at fault but there may be a problem with voltage surge causing the unit to shut down.I would suggest get the battery and charging/alternator systems tested.Also check power and earth leads from battery to chassis.hth

thanks for your advice, can you tell me were i could go to get them tested or can i call a mobile diagnostics to check for problems ??
