ford focus - Battery on 1.8tdci - simp
Hi

Had a new battery fitted recently, an exide eb712, it has 670 cca.

Been trying to find out if it is silver calcium without any luck.

Can anyone help please as I believe the car has to have the calcium battery

Reading around recently about batteries in general, it does seem that some new charging systems are so sophisticated that they do indeed upon having a particular battery technology in place. Fords especially I seem to remember.
