Does the new Mondeo still require the suspension to be dismantled in order to replace the clutch?
Keeping an eye on this car, you seem to get a lot for for (used) money, and I fit in it , usually a problem for me - hence the name Big John!

Not good news - I have just checked the labour time 3.9 hrs off my Ford system.
Bear in mind these clutches do have a fairly high life expectancy of 100K plus if the car is driven sympathetically so with luck you may not get stung with this one.

Didn't the old one need like 7 hours' labour or something?
My R19 took 4 hours when its clutch went at 82k.

Officially 5.2hrs on the old model.

According to HJ you have to take the sub frame off. (I've just been looking to buy one...)

These are my own opinions, and not necessarily those of all Toads.

Yes, you have to remove the subframe having supported the engine first. Looks a bit of a pig to do.
