Fiat/Hundai - small automatic high ground clearance car

Fiat/Hundai - small automatic high ground clearance car - Linnett

I recently moved to the country and traded my Mini Cooper auto for a Jimny auto as the Mini was too low for the country lanes. However, I am not entirely happy with the Jimny and am not certain that I need a 4wd but rather a car with high ground clearance.

I am not in a hurry to change the car and want to do lots of research to make sure I get it right this time. What small automatic car(s) would you recommend that do have high ground clearance.

The Fiat Panda 4x4 usually operates in 2wd unless it's needed (wheel slip detected), has plenty of ground clearance, is reliable, nice to drive and pretty fuel efficient. With the new Panda on the way perhaps some bargains may be had early next year.

Our daughter has the Fiat Panda Eco model 1200cc.She is a community nurse.

Car handles very well in this weather and cheap to run .If used with all weather tyres should get you anywhere.
