Renault Master - power steering - robinsonjuice

hi all, i have a problem with my renault masters power steering, when i go to steer it feels stiff, but once moving its fine and feels normal, it isnt leaking and works fine when your steering its just getting started!! has anyone else had this problem? i suspect a fault with the rack or pump but not sure which one it'd be.

any advice is greatly appreciated!

i have the same problem ?? Did you find the cause and manage to resolve it . Or does anyone else have an answer ? When traveling straight when you start to turn it is stiff but once you get past that it steers fine.

Where the steering shaft passes through the floor of the van, up underneath is a u/j joint. Spraying this with WD40 has solved our problem, but will probably need to be replaced at next MOT.
