Renault Clio 182 - What can I use to clean seatbelts? - Stropley

I've just bought a clio which has light silver colour seatbelts. The driver's belt is filthy dirty, especially for a 54 reg car. I wonder if all belts look like this but when they're black you don't notice the muck?

Anyway I'm after some advice please on what to clean the belt with - I don't want to accidentally try a cleaning product which may damage the webbing.

Previously I've used aerosol upholstery cleaner (Ambersol, Autoglym) with some success. Just be absolutley sure to keep the cleaned belt unreeled until the webbing has dried properly. E.g keep the belt extended and buckled up overnight.

1001 'Trouble Shooter' spray. Spray on, leave until the bubbles disappear then rub off.
