New Galaxy 'pollen' filter - Mash
Does anyone know how to remove the 'pollen filter' on a 2002 model Galaxy please ?

If its the same as a 95 galaxy then the answer is not very easily
but if you realy are determined then you need to remove the tray in the engine compartment which sits under the windscreen and wipper motor assembly, there are two screws/ bolts one either side and a clip or two. also you will need to remove some of the black shielding from around the battery and coolant expansion bottle.Once the tray is out of the way you can get to the filter on the right hand side and it should pull out of its clips. You will have to juggle the filter around to extract it from the confined space once it is released from clips. Fitting is reverse order ,hope this is a reasonable explanation for you.
