hi

I have a BMW 5 series Touring where the tailgate won't open. To open the boot I have to release the catch manually from the inside. When I close the boot I can hear the motor grab the tailgate and pull it tight. When I try and open from the outside I can hear the motor turn over but it doesn't release the tailgate or the luggage cover. Does anyone have any experience of this problem ? Any help is appricated
