Check your maintenance book. If you can find the three letters CAR followed by four digits, those digits might be your code. (according to a french forum)
Try Martin Lewis money saving site,there is always someone on there for Ford codes and sometimes others....maybe a helpful soul will be able to point you in the right direction for your Renault .They kindly gave me my Fiesta radio code for free.
