If I recall the vac pump sits in the boot ,next to the spare wheel,under a metal protection cover.If it is not there,then it could be under back seat cushion.Testing is fairly easy.There should be a 2 pin plug with a power and earth supply and a 3 pin plug (blue/yellow/green)which are the 2 front doors and boot switching signals.hth
