Was in Wilkinsons store today & noticed they had Carlube Tripple R fully synthetic oil on offer, 4l for £7.98 which seemed like a bargain.

Meets the requirements of: API SM/CF, ACEA A3 B3 B4, VW502.00 / 505.00

MB229.3, Porche A40, Renault RN0700/0710

Certainly still on their web site at full price at 19 or 20 quid per 4l depending on grade. I'll certainly have a wander in local to check in the morning.

They had 3 different types.

One marketed for older engines which I didn't take any details of, 0W 30 fully synth in a silver pack & 5W 40 fully synth in a purple pack which is the one I bought, well 3 packs in fact.

They were not where the motoring items were located on the shelves but on a separate display in one of the isles.
