Hi ix35user,

You first need to ensure Bluetooth is running on the iphone (Settings app - General / Bluetooth : slide to on). Leave iphone scanning for devices....

On the stereo, press Setup button to show Setup menu on display. Twist the round control (under Setup button) so that Phone option is selected. Press round control button in.

Should now show new options and "Pair Phone" on display. Press round control button.

The car will then talk you through the process. You will be asked to pair with code 0000.

On the iphone you should now see ix35 displayed. Select this device. Enter code 0000.

That should be all that's required... Hope this helps

Cheers

Hyundai ix35 - bluetooth connectivity - Howmuchlonger?

I've tried my work phone, Nokia somethingorother, and no-one can hear me, either echo's or background noise, My Samsung Jet doesn't even pair. Have given up and gone back to using the little ear phone buds.

Perhaps I should have a word with the dealer?

Hi,

Found a similar discussion on the hyundai forums site. Also refers to some links to compatibility tests performed by Hyundai with different phones.

Hope this helps.
