I realise this post is a little old now, but for anyone else worrying about this I don't think you have to unless all your driving is stop/start driving in town. Check out the link to the AA website:
"It should be possible to start a complete regeneration... ...simply by driving for 10 minutes or so at speeds greater than 40mph."

If your driving habits don't fit this criteria then they say this:
"If your own car use is mainly town-based, stop/start driving it would be wise to choose petrol rather than risk the hassle of incomplete DPF regeneration."
And as Dutchie says, they have a petrol too, which would probably be the more sensible option anyway if you only expect to cover a low mileage as it will have a lower list price and you won't miss the extra performance of the diesel.
