Hi all
The rear tyres are continually going flat, indicating side walls etc starting to go (they've been on a while and the rubber looks 'flakey' in places on the sidewall).
I'm hoping to get a pair of tyres fitted by a mobile van - not too keen to drive to a garage with flat tyres! - but I've not used any before. Does anyone have recommendations for any in the Bath area?
I'm also keen not to break the bank, I note that many garage-based fitters offer budget tyres that are sub-brands of reputable companies, are these OK for what is essentially a second car? Wear really doesn't bother me, as the tyres are more likely to perish than wear, but obviously I'd prefer ones that grip the road!
All advice gratefully received.
