hi all ,just serviced engine, have noticed very thin film of oil in water expansion tank,is my head gasket on its way out ? thx

If you are sure its engine oil, - probably, although if it has an oil cooler it could be that.

Does it overheat,boil over,use water,use oil,does the heater work properly.

If it runs ok then its more than likely alright.

thanks for replys, everthing else seems ok, just wondering what the cost could be if i get the head gasket done, what are garage labour charges ? im in midlands ?

Oil could be leaking from the turbo.
