Ford Fiesta - Fiesta Stuck Temperature Dial - snorf

The temperature dial on my '04 Fiesta 1.4 TDCi will not go any higher than mid-temperature after having been on cold for the whole summer.

The temperature of the air still changes as I increase from cold to medium. I have taken the fascia off and found nothing amiss at that end. Also had a nose around at the pivot point just to the left of the clutch pedal where the cable from the dial pulls a bit of plastic which pushes a bit of metal which pushes another bit of plastic, nothing broken or stuck there.

Any suggestions are welcome.

If you are referring to the engine temperature I would suggest your thermostat has failed. Regards Peter

It's actually the cabin temperature. It feels as if something has become jammed, possibly in the heater matrix, but I don't know if it is accessible behind the bulkhead. Thanks
